Agreed to send Petition information to Sheffield MPs including Abtisan (Julia and Liddy) and send all the other postcards to all other Sheffield and non-Sheffield MPs (Liddy)

Future activities/actions will include

16 - 18 June - FoE at Unison Conference
18 June - Westminster Hall Debate
Transform Trade (previously Traidcraft) working with Live Simply - St. Vincent's Church in Sheffield - could invite to our next meeting and explore working with them over summer
FoE can provide posters and stickers for targeting MPs.
The letter about viscose we signed has been sent.
Potential for more media engagement over the summer
Next FoE webinar will be in September
On Wednesday 21 October there will be a mass lobby in London (virtual or in person).

We are planning to use the What Matters Most survey to start conversations on future stalls - https://actionnetwork.org/forms/what-matters-most-in-sheffield/
Stalls - Pollen Market fully booked for summer but we can book for 20 Sept and possibly December (in WInter Gardens).

Group development - need to recruit members with access to car and with social media skills, and a replacement for Bee to manage Action Network and newsletter.
Saul to liaise with Bee on newsletter and Tom Wright on Action Network.

Julia and Liddy shared feedback from meeting Asad Rehman, Friends of the Earth CEO.
Sheffield Environmental Volunteering Celebration 2026. Thu, July 2 6:00 – 8:30pm - spaces still available.
Saturday, 4 July Yorkshire Summer Action Gathering in Sheffield - Liddy and Claire to liaise with Simon re plans.
