Sheffield Friends of the Earth will provide students on strike at the rally in Barkers Pool with a unique opportunity to talk with their MP on this important day that recognises the Climate Emergency. The timetable for the surgeries is as follows:
1.00 pm Clive Betts MP (Labour - Sheffield South East)
1.30 pm Louise Haigh MP (Labour - Sheffield Heeley)
2.00 pm - 3.00 pm Shaffaq Mohammed MEP (Lib Dem). Please go to the Lib Dem stall.
2.00 pm Gill Furniss MP (Labour - Sheffield Brightside and Hillsborough)
2.30 pm Paul Blomfield MP (Labour - Sheffield Central)
3.00 pm Majid Majid MEP (Green - Yorkshire and the Humber)
The Friends of the Earth gazebo will be situated near the "Women of Steel" statue in Barker's Pool and will be suitably marked. Sheffield Friends of the Earth volunteers will be on hand wearing our logo t-shirts or waterproofs. Please come along and discuss climate change with you MP and MEP. If you don't know who is your MP then don't worry - we'll find out for you.
