Climate Change Update

Climate strikes
Planning for the strike and city centre event on Friday is well advanced; we will have the gazebo and a stall in Barkers Pool with arrangements for MPs and MEPs to speak to the students. The line up so far is:

1.00 - 1:30 Clive Betts MP
1:30 - 2.00 Louise Hague MP
2.00 - 2:30 Gill Furniss MP
2:30 - 3.00 Paul Blomfield MP
3.00 - 3:30 Magid Magid MEP

Sara has a survey that we can get them to complete in groups which will get them to think about what they would want to ask the MPs. She will be able to share the survey content with the MPs. We will also have signs and banners on the gazebo, chalk for writing on the paving and will be taking photos.  Ways of ensuring follow up after the event with MPs and the children were discussed.
