Communications - April 2016

Shaun paid £5 for a Facebook advert to promote our Facebook page, our website and our meetings. About 1100 people saw the advert and about 20 people visited our website as a result. We also noticed a spike in people liking the Facebook page. We currently have 90 members and it would be nice to reach the 100 mark soon. If you would like to join see the link here.

Our Facebook page tries to focus on the following priorities:
  1. Sheffield Friends of the Earth news and campaigns
  2. Sheffield environmental articles, news and events
  3. National Friends of the Earth news
  4. Other national news which ties in to our campaigns.
The idea behind following the list of 4 priorities is to create a clear Sheffield identity for the Facebook page and to keep it relevant to the work we do.
