John raised the issue of Smithy Wood and the development proposal for a motorway service area by Smithy Woods Business Parks Development. Sheffield FoE support the campaign against this development, especially since there is an adjacent brown field site which is much more appropriate for such use.
Beatrice went along to the official demonstration with the Sheffield Friends of the Earth banners. This event was featured in the local newspapers and TV news programmes.
