John mentioned the Bee Action Plan Workshop taking place on Friday 21 March 1-4pm in York. Defra is hosting 3 workshops (in York, Bristol and London) on its draft National Pollinator Strategy (NPS), the supporting science and consultation questions. This is a good opportunity for Friends of the Earth local groups and activists to attend to let the Government know of the shortcomings of the draft NPS and the need for it to be strengthened before the final NPS is launched in June/July.
