There are thousands of individuals, communities, organisations and movements across the world fighting battles to stop dirty energy, and to demand the right to a clean and just alternative.
Between the 11th October and the 11th November 2013, these communities, environmental organisations and justice movements from around the world are joining together in mutual solidarity, inspiring and building the global movement to demand an energy revolution.
Sheffield Friends of the Earth hope to get involved with this campaign in some way. Most likely, our campaign will focus on fracking.
At our September meeting the first 30 minutes will be handed over to the Coal Action Network to talk about their campaigns on dirty energy. See http://coalaction.org.uk/ for more details
