David will contact Andy Atkins (FoE Director) to explore how to utilise his visit to Sheffield especially since next year is the group’s 40th anniversary.
Local Nature Partnership
Richard attended a Local Nature Partnership meeting where they are currently setting up the board. It was mentioned that some money is available for nature work. He also attended a Health and Well-being Board which looks at health and environmental issues. A detailed report covering both meetings will hopefully be available in the near future.
Garden Organic
Richard visited Garden Organic for their AGM and he is keen to organise a social visit for our group to see their gardens.
Litter Pick
We will discuss the location of our next litter pick at our June meeting. Trisha will be heading up this campaign (trisha.brutus@gmail.com)
Fundraising
John aims to host a music gig in November as a way of raising funds of the group. If you are interested in helping or know of bands willing to help then please get in touch with John (johnwilson614@hotmail.com)
