National Get Together
Friends of the Earth's national get together for campaigners (Basecamp) will take place from the 12th – 14th July at Hartington in Derbyshire.  For more information visit www.foe.co.uk/gettogether  As many of the group will be attending this event, it has been decided not to book a stall at the Green Fair this year, which is on 13th July.

Motions for Conference 2013
Motions for 2013 will be accepted up until April 1st. Contact admin@sheffieldfoe.co.uk for more details if you would like to put forward a motion for discussion at the Basecamp in July.

Firth Park Festival
We have booked a table at the Firth Park Festival which takes place on Saturday 29th June 11am-4pm. If you fancy helping out for an hour or so then please let us know admin@sheffieldfoe.co.uk

Sheffield Friends of the Earth AGM
A new joint Co-ordinator will have to be elected at the AGM next month. All posts will be available to keen volunteers.  John will be voted in as Coordinator of the group in his absence if there are no other volunteers. John won't be at the AGM as he is travelling by train to Croatia for Young Friends of the Earth conference.

Social Events and Meetings
Shaun is keen to arrange visits/talks with local companies like Pulse Tidal and ITM power etc and maybe doing some social events like foraging for food. Contact Shaun (website@sheffieldfoe.co.uk) if you are interested in this.

Friends of the Earth Route Map
There is a draft one being confidentially circulated which shows where FoE hopes to be in 2050.  There are 10 topics and Richard suggested looked at one topic per meeting.  Contact John if you would like to have a look at the draft document. john.wilson@foe.co.uk

Other Business
It was mentioned that FoE should liaise with large energy users like Forgemasters. It was also pointed out that the EU emissions trading scheme has collapsed.
