A very common issue raised by members of the public at our previous stalls was the lack of different shaped energy saving light bulbs. To ensure people don’t believe this myth at future stalls, Shaun contacted Megaman (a company manufacturing innovative energy saving bulbs). They supplied us with 5 different light bulbs in a special display case, 10 catalogues and about 100 leaflets. Shaun has started to contact companies, such as large pub chains and hotels, which are using lots of halogen bulbs or other inefficient spot lights. Sheffield Friends of the Earth are asking them to use energy efficient spot light bulbs instead to lower their impact on climate change and save the companies money.
