Sheffield Renewables have some funding from the Urban Community Energy Fund to install solar PV on a local school. They have identified about 25 schools in Sheffield that are particularly suitable in terms of size of roof, orientation, lack of shading, etc.
If you have any links with a school in Sheffield that doesn't already have solar PV on the roof, please get in touch with julia@sheffieldrenewables.org.uk
Beatrice will email suggestions to Sheffield Renewables as we have a number of contacts with school governors. Beatrice also attended a meeting with Sheffield City Council who have a list of schools and links with the Board of Governors which might help.

Can anyone be our link with Sheffield Climate Alliance and attend their meetings as Richard can no longer do this and we would not like to lose the contacts?
