Fracking Campaign Update - October 2015

Frack Free South Yorkshire have provided an update on what else is happening with fracking around the region.

IGas' planning application for two exploratory drills - one vertical one horizontal - at Misson Springs will be lodged with Notts County Council very soon.  This will be the first in the South Yorkshire / East Midlands region.

There is still time to object to Third Energy's planning application to drill for shale gas at Kirby Misperton, North Yorkshire. http://frackfreeryedale.org/km8/.

There is a possibility of an anti-fracking motion to be put to the Liberal Democrats conference next spring at the Barbican, York, 11-13 March 2016. If you know any Lib Dem members please encourage them to make this happen.
