The venue at Union Street was visited and looks good. There is no disabled access as the lift is currently broken and will not be fixed in time. We will be setting up at 5pm on both days to make sure everything is ready for the 6pm opening time. We need curtains and/or banners to block out the light from the windows.
There are catering facilities; Liddy is to provide milk, tea, coffee, sugar. Richard will bring soya milk. Beatrice, Trisha, Maeve and Hayley are to provide a cake each. Hayley will provide a laptop and Richard the speakers. Union Street will provide the projector.
Speakers: David Burley from Frack Free South Yorkshire is to lead the discussion on Gaslands 2, and Simon Bowens from Friends of the Earth on Chasing Ice. We have a licence for Gaslands 2 but the people promoting Chasing Ice have not replied to the request for a licence.
