Beatrice asked National Friends of the Earth to support us in this matter and they responded by sending an email to all national members about the petition linked with the Woodland Trust to stop this destruction.
Beatrice has been in contact with Save Smithy Wood and they have asked that letters be written to the local papers to raise awareness. David said that he will do this.
