John informed the group that fracking sites are springing up all over the north (Chester, North Nottinghamshire, Manchester etc).
Phil and Julie visited Sutton Cum Lound near Retford to warn the locals of the dangers of fracking. Richard also visited Retford on the 1st March to help spread the anti-fracking message.
There isn't much activity at the moment to report back on regarding the local councils.
Trisha reminded us that the green energy company, Ecotrcity, has announcing a further price freeze, through the spring and summer until 1st October 2014. They have also reached 100,000 customers with over 50,000 joining since the summer. Ecotricity has produced a short film about fracking which can be seen below.
