We will hand in the fracking petition after the council budget has been set as there will be less pressure on councillors. We hope this will have more impact.
Creating a Bee World
Maureen has contacted Councillor Jack Scott for a suggestion as to where Sheffield Friends of the Earth can plant a bee meadow near the town centre. So far no site has been identified.
Make it Better campaign
Friends of the Earth have now decided to target the companies that Samsung & Apple sponsor.

Rotary Club Talk
John gave an excellent summary of the wide range of issues Friends of the Earth has campaigned on, and although he was heckled at some points in his talk, it was generally well received.
Food Cooking Demo
If anyone would like to volunteer to demonstrate how to cook certain dishes to encourage use of fresh ingredients etc then please contact Trisha on trisha.brutus@gmail.com
