The SCACC AGM Tues 16th Oct 7-9pm at the Quaker Meeting House. Simon Bowens from FoE is to talk about Fracking at the meeting. Apparently the spoil water is so toxic they can’t move it. Estimates are that reserves are 1.5 to 30 years so rather variable! The petition to make Sheffield a Frack Free Zone is continuing to grow. It was suggest that a letter is written to Councillors about fracking before the petition is presented.
