Low Carbon Sheffield


The Cabinet at Sheffield City Council are discussing a report from Andy Nolan in which he recommends that Sheffield invest money to become the country's first decentralised energy city (generating all of its energy in Sheffield).  There's some reliance on the district heating from the incinerator and the use of biomass at Blackburn Meadows. At the moment we are looking at the report and will discuss it at a future meeting.  To read the report see:
